Answer:
There are two different things "Groups" and "Pages". Group have "Join" Button to join the group where as Pages have "Like" buttons. If you want to create new Page follow the below steps: 1) Go to any pages 2) On left most Button of the page there is "Create a Page" link. 3) Click on that link and follow the instruction. I am not sure about converting group into Pages. Well, we should create a new Page for Like button.
