How to stop my MSN sending those annoying adverts?

How can i stop someone sending me links through msn ? is it a virus?

It's them who has the virus, not you. Don't click on the link that they send, just close it. I get this all the time and it's very annoying.

Either they have a computer worm, or they put their password on one of those sites. Tell them to change it as soon as possible, after they've run the scan. Never ever click on those links.

You can tell that person to run a complete anti virus scan. Most of the annoying links are work of a computer worm. Or, you can block that person if you want to.

just block them, it isn't you that has the virus, it is them. To ensure this never happens to you, dont accept random links, even if it has your name in it as it sometimes does. If you want to talk to the person, let them know to let you know when they are coming online and never accept any links from them :D Does that make sense?
