Snowboarding Jacket Question?

Do I have to buy a "snowboarding" jacket or can I just wear any type of jacket?

    you don't need a special jacket that is made for snowboarding. as long as its comfortable and you can move around in it, it should be fine.

You really should get a snowboarding jacket, others just won't do as good. They have special linings to keep you warm yet let your skin breathe while you're on the slopes. Good brands would be burton, 5150, zero xposure, and volcom and stuff like that. Trust me, you don't want to freeze! lol

Theres really no difference between a normal jacket and a snowboarding jacket. I've been snowboarding for like 6 years and I just use a regular jacket or a hoodie, but I can still do all the same stuff.

I wear my nice burton jacket on really cold/snowy days but besides that just wear in just wear a hoodie no its not waterproof but the snow just kinda freezes on the outside of the jacket so you can really wear whatever you want.

you want a jacket with a water proof material (any snowboard jacket, i prefer burton) because your day will end if your clothing gets wet. especially if youre a beginner.

As long as you can move around in the jacket, and it's keeping you warm it should work. I don't have a "snowboarding" jacket and it's all good.
