How To Start Homeschooling My Son?

It all depends - how old is he, and what state do you live in (or country, if you're not in the US)? There are different laws and regulations for every state and country, so we need to know that info in order to help you. (I ask his age because each state has a different "compulsory education" age - depending on his age, you may not even have to file anything.)

If you have everything you need, then start teaching him. You shouldn't have to wait until all the paperwork clears. Or some people like their kids to take a break and "deschool" first. So, they either try to plan fun outings and fun things to do around the house, or they let the child figure things out to do for himself for a while (until he either starts doing educational things on his own or is so bored that he's not upset about the idea of doing lessons at home). So, that's another option. In the meantime, find a local homeschool support group. There are online ones (try Yahoogroups) and local, inperson ones. They are a great way to meet other local homeschoolers, get tips on dealing with local laws and policies, find other homeschooled friends for your son (so he won't think homeschooling is too wierd), get access to more information about local resources, field trips, etc. A good one will help you a lot.
