How do I get into modeling at 13?

How to start in modeling?

  • My daugther is 13 and she is interested in modeling but I haven't a clue on how or where to get started. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

    well. that's what my cousin was getting her daughter in.she used to be in band-aid commercials and stuff.. just start off for commercials. shes young she doesn't need any of that extreme stuff. she can model for things like target. and even when she gets older and still wants to pursue that. then she can step into a higher model agency

They have modeling schools that send your pictures out to modeling agencies! Me and my sister might do one we are getting it checked out first which is what you should do! Talk to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) They should have a list of companies the accredited! The one we want to go to has it and you should have someone who understands contracts look over it before you sign anything! The one we want to go to is called One Source Talent! Maybe they have it where you live! Hope I helped You might have to pay for headshots and a monthly fee for their services!!

get her to start a portfolio firstly. get a good photography and dont be scared to spend more. the better the photographer, the better she has a chance. then, book some castings with modelling agencies like ford or storm to name the best. be careful, any agency asking for money is a scam. do not fall for it!! also, considering your daughter is 13 you might have some difficulty as most main jobs come at 16/18-ish. good luck (: xoxo.
