Which paintball barrel is better?

Which paintball sniper is better? tippman 98 custom with barrel, scope, stock or JT stealth with scope?

    buy the 98 so that when you realize that sniping in paintball has nothing to do with what gun you have, then you'll actually still have a gun worth keeping. What I'm trying to say is that all paintball guns shoot the same distance, so in reality a "paintball sniper" is just someone who sneaks around and ambushes people. There are guns better suited to this, such as the Special Ops Longbow system, but sniping is all about the playing style. As for the scope, don't get one. the first problem is seeing through it while wearing a mask, the second is that paintballs have too much of an arc in flight to really need a scope.

Stick with the Tippmann's. You won't get a 'sniper paintball gun' out of the box from the factory. But with the right parts and accessories, you can gun a gun to be highly accurate with really good distance. No paintball gun on the market has more parts, accessories (including stocks) and barrels than for the Tippmann line of paintball guns. I would consider the Tippmann A5 even over the 98. It's slightly more in price - but you're getting a cyclone feed system as part of the A5 package. I agree w/ hound103 I also would go with the 98 good woodsball gun you can get tons of upgrades for it & Tippmann's customer service is great I would concentrate on performance upgrades instead of making it a Sniper look because that is all you will gain "the Look' first thing I would get would be a barrel for the 98 look at a smart parts progressive really good barrel for the 98 & reasonably priced. good hopper & maybe a response trigger or an E-trigger
