What kind of nursing career should I pursue?

What kind of career should i pursue?

  • I am an EE undergrad in my 3rd year at IIT with a low cpi (six pointer). I am interested in programming. I have mediocre interest in my department (I think i am not that good in EE)  .I am confused as to what kind of career to pursue ?

  • Answer:

As you said--a programming career would be the best choice. Your UG major or low grades don't matter much if you are dedicated and focused towards your interest area. Make some good projects and you'll have strong bullets to show off in your resume to back your low grades. In fact I am also a final year ECE student at non-IIT college, interested in programming career. I took ECE major to understand the real hardware behind all modern gadgets and succeeded partially. Now I am focusing on programming and computer science. Hopeful to pursue master in Computer Science. Remember, it's never too late to get started. You have a lot of life/career ahead. Pursue your interest, make your dreams real.

At the third year, you are almost about to graduate. If you switch college majors at this point, you will have to start all over again. But on the other hand, if you are not really interested in the industry, it will be a waste to graduate on it. So you can switch majors while you still can.
