Trying my hand at crabbing in Virginia in a few weeks?

    Ive found crabs love frozen chicken wings - just get a package of them at the grocery store, tie them with string or fishing line and throw em out to the water If youre going to be in Virginia itll be the Chesapeake Bay - crab population isnt what it used to be, good luck

Crabbing is easy. You don't need to have a Fishing License to Crab. If your using a Basket turn put your basket around a pier, dock, jetties, or in the muddy bay. For bait just use some OLD Chicken it's cheap and works, make sure you let the chicken get a little smelly, also helps to add some cut up bait fish. Let the basket sit or "soak" as the crabbers would say lol check it about every 1-2hrs or so.
