Is using an expired inhaler bad for u?

  • My mother is a penny pincher and wants me to use my inhaler till its empty, so i am wondering if its bad to use it if its expired.

Not really. As a premed student, I've seen alot of expired meds-if it's a few days or even months, it's ok. A year or so? Not so much. The experation date is for the max. effectiveness. I think you will be ok. I've used my inhaler that was 5 months "expried" and noticed I needed to inhale an extra pump.
