you can also look at oldy but goldy enduro bikes like nx650 xl600 xr650L or xr650r they are cheap, reliable and handle best on streets between cages
My current ride is a Honda Shadow. It matches your requirements, plus it's got something no other bike I've owned has had: rear view mirrors that work. Yep, I can look in the mirror and see something, not just a big, buzzy blur. I'm not really happy with the freeway pegs, but I'm used to that now and I'm looking for a kit to make them more like what I think of as "normal." Hope I've helped. Good luck!
