How do you crop a JPEG picture and then save it back as a JPEG??

What are you using to crop the photos? You should be able to resave the photos. When you save your photo after the crop it will save as a jpeg unless you change it from a jpeg. So, just do your crop and then save. If you want to keep the original photo and the cropped photo, then once you do the crop do save as and give the photo a different name.

I'm so glad you asked this,I hope someone can give you the answer,Some times there is a option to change the code but most of the time there isn't,I alway have to upload it on the web to photobuckett or my incredimail box where they change the code and then download it again .

i know this seems silly, and too simple to work, but you can use miscrosoft 'paint' to crop photos and resave them as a jpeg. if you're looking to make the who photo smaller, under 'image' there's a stretch/skew option and you can chose to make it 50% smaller, 25% or whatever you want!
