What college is the best for photography?

I'm starting a photography course at college and i was wondering what the best kind of camera i could use? x?

You need to check & see what type of camera the professor requires for the class. Why spend money on a camera if the professor will not let you use it for class.

If its a really good course you'll be required to use a 100% all manual 35mm film camera. So check the course catalog or call the instructor and find out what kind of camera you'll need.

Check with the College to see if you will bedoing Film or Digital first and if they have a requierment for the camera model (probably not but ...). It's kind of pointless for you to go out and spend 2000$ on camera gear only to get to school next year and find out you neede something else. If you STILL want to buy a DSLR then I'd recommend Nikon D3100, Nikon D5000, Canon Xsi, Canon T2i.

I dont' know if there is a best kind of camera, but to make things easier on yourself, get an SLR camera. There are many good ones to choose from. Just do a little on-line research.

I would personally recommend a Fully-Automatic SLR Camera (Film) as it would teach you how to take photos using all the technical side of things, because ANYONE can take a photo with a digital camera cause it does it all for you. Photography courses normally encourage film photography in the first year :) (I do a photography course at College)
