What's a good response time for a HD computer monitor? (Gaming)?

    8ms or less is fine for gaming. Size depends on the resolution you want. I would suggest 21" (1680x1050), or if you have a powerful PC a 24" or higher (1920x1200+). I can't really recommend a brand except BenQ. I've had two monitors off them now and I have been very happy with both.

Mine is 4ms and I do not notice any ghosting or blurring, even when playing FPS. I would say anything <5 is good.

Most "gaming" monitors boast a response time of 2ms. However, I find that 5ms is fine. BUT specs are ALWAYS misleading, and this is especially true for monitors. The best way to compare monitors is to view them in action yourself.
