    yeah. it'll be fine. But just a few quick checkers for you. The processor in ur computer is a little under, but it's not a big deal. that's just what's recommended. since you have vista do this. 1)got to start menu 2)on start menu, "computer" is on the right side. 3)Right click, go down to properties. 4)there should be a window, under "system" there will be a rating. click on "windows experience index" (should be blue) 5) another window, "click on view and print details" 6)another window, under graphics will be a line that says "dedicated graphics memory" xxx mb. Just make sure your laptop is above or at 128mb. If your computer has lower mb than that, you'll need to lower the graphics of the game in the options menu, otherwise your characters will be glitching across the screen.

You meet the basic requirements, but you don't exceed them by much. If you experience poor performance, you will need to turn down the graphics quality settings within the game. Integrated graphics chips are the worst for gaming, and your processor isn't exactly a powerhouse.

I'm willing to bet that your computer will run the sims, but probably not very well, mainly because of the video card.

Yes, you should be fine. Your graphics chip meets the requirement. If you want to upgrade the chip/card, you're looking at a new laptop.

It should work for Sims 3, but Intel video cards are terrible for gaming.
