I live in the UK and want to go to College in America when I'm 16?

You've got to realise that the US and UK education systems are not the same. "College" in America means "University" in England. Americans go to school till they're 18, it's not like in the UK where you don't have to do sixth form or some kind of college. So what you'd be talking about is high school. I'm sure if you go to sixth form, get good grades and save up a lot of money you could go to study in the US. The best option would probably to look into which British Unis have exchanges with American Universities like NYU, UCLA, Yale, Harvard. Every University has an exchange with somewhere, mine depended on the course but they were all in Scandinavia.

I'm no genius but I'd assume you have to wait till you're 18 to go to college in America. Whereas here, during them two years (16-18) you could have completed and achieved a-levels or BTEC results in the UK. Gives us in the UK a head start really.
