Is it possible to hook a digital camera to a computer and use it as a webcam?

i have a digital camera and i wanna use it for my aim to webchat or whatever with my friend or use it to post videos on people's wall on facebook. is that possible?

To do this you either have to use a usb cable that connects from your digital camera. You need a driver though. And a driver is a File that helps the computer recognise it. But, your camera could have a dv slot. if it does no driver is required. You should find a driver on the cd if the camera is supposed to connect to the computer. Hope I Have Helped :D
