How do you install a sims 3 expansion pack?
-
I've been playing the sims 3 for a couple days and just got the university expansion pack. How do you install the expansion if you only have 1 disk slot on your computer? Please give a step by step explanation. Thank you

Answer:
You put the new disc in the cd-player and then install it the same way you did the game. You will get a new short-cut and after that you should always play with the disc of the last installed expansion.

I am not sure, but with Sims 2 only one disk drive was needed for installing expansion packs. With the base game installed at the hard drive, you started by installing from disc 1 of the expansion pack and following the instruction at the screen. With Sims 3 I have only installed a few expansion packs bought from Origin without any discs.
