How does the built in free view work on lcd tvs i already have my tv connected to sky . what do you have to do?

Assuming the Aerial is connected. It depends on the TV and remote control. Sky is usually via SCART using an AV button. My main Panasonic TV has a TV/AV button with AV selection via coloured buttons. For TV there is also a DVB (digital)/analogue button. My Sharp TV has an input select button with an horizontal arrow with 7 steps for SCART, HDMI etc. The 8th step goes to TV where a DTV button has to be pressed for FreeView. Whilst on SCART, pressing the number buttons switch to an analogue channel where the DTV button is again needed for digital TV. In both cases, on powering on, the last viewed channel or input is selected. There should be a Menu button that allows you to tune in to all channels,
