What is eye tracking technology?

With a non-tech job background except last 1.5 years of technology startup experience: a) Would I be a good candidate for Stanford MS&E? b) Would MS&E be as helpful for me as for people with pure technology background - especially, with an eye on starting a venture on my own?

  • I have a BS CS from IIT and 5+ years of work experience in management and running my own startup. My long term goal is to build my own technology company.

  • Answer:

In general, the Stanford MS&E program is a good degree to gain entry into the rich Stanford-SF Bay Area entrepreneurial ecosystem. I'd suggest reaching out to some current students and recent alumni to get more relevant insights. (I graduated a long time ago.)   Given your work experience, you can also consider applying to the Stanford GSB as well. It also has quite a few entrepreneurship-focused courses.  Again, here, talking to current GSB students and recent alumni will provide you useful insights in order to make a decision.
