    One of our greatest secrets is Big Bear Lake! I hadn't been there in a long time, so I was totally blown away with how gorgeous it is, and the lake is totally open and beautiful! There are all types of camping in the area, as well as hotel/cabins. The lake is open to all sorts of water sports, as well as swimming. Big Bear is an easy drive from the L. A. area and is a nice break from the heat and smog of the city. Check it out! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! Happy Travels!
