How to Obtain a UK indefinite?

UK Immigration: How long does it take to obtain an accession worker card if your request is sponsored by a large company?

• Romanian and Bulgarian nationals are not yet allowed to work freely in the UK. You need an accession worker card for which you can apply on your own or sponsored by your employer - see this link: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/eucitizens/bulgaria-romania/work-permits/applying/. If you apply on your own, it takes a minimum of six months for you to receive your work permit. What I don't know is how long it takes if your request is sponsored. In my case, I am specifically interested in the case where the employer is a large (US HQ) software company.

  I received mine in 10 days from the date when I was notified that my application had been filed, even though I was repeatedly warned that it may take up to six months. I don't know if the solicitors hired by my future employer had undergone any prior actions besides just drafting my application, but the process was really quick. I had to send either my National ID or my passport in original (!), they took care of presenting translated copies of my college degrees, but I did not need to send the original ones. I want to point out that this was a sponsored application, I think if you apply for an accession worker card as a highly skilled imiggrant (without any company to back you up) it may take significantly longer.
