Can an amplifier loose power?

Can i power four 400-watt kicker cvr subwoofers(12') with a 1600-watt monoblock planet audio amplifier?

    Assuming your subs are 4ohm SVC and assuming that amp does output rated power then they would be a good match (dragonbreath is super knowledgable so if he says that amp won't make rated power then it probably won't). That amp says it outputs [email protected] could wire 4 SVC 4ohms subs down to 1ohm which would give you 400W RMS per sub thus making it a perfect match. BUT first I don't know of any 4ohm SVC comp vr's (I believe they're all DVC) and, like I said, you probably won't be getting rated power out of that amp.
