Wildlife conservationist?

I would like to become a Wildlife Conservationist.?

  • What is the best degree to have in order to pursue a career in Wildlife Conservation? Thanks!

  • Answer:

i am going for the same exact thing. no lie. i am a freshman in college and have been researching this for the past four years. your best choice is to pursue a career in zoology. from there ou can become anything and do anything with animals. there is also a wildlife conservation major but that limits you in case in the future you may not want to do that. i want to work with endangered aminals and conserve them. also start interning anywhere that has to do with animals. i interned at my local zoo but quit because of the abuse i witnessed. so now i work at my vet and kennel.

Go for zoology, biology, or wildlife management, or something along those lines. Start getting hands on experience as soon as possible in the form of internships or volunteer work. You will need at least a Bachelors degree, but a Masters or Phd is preferable for this career.
