Because I have not had a new job ever since I was fired, terminated from my last job, does anyone here know anyone who was still able to get a new job despite being fired, terminated ...show more

Answer:
Being fired doesn't always mean you are doomed, BUT employers look at WHY you were fired. Excessive tardiness, bad attitude, combative nature....would you want to work with someone that was always late? Or argued with everyone? If someone is interested in hiring you, they will call and check as to why you were let go from your last job. For you, it is far better to be honest and own up to being let go than to hide the fact...it is NEVER acceptable to lie on a job application...EVER> It calls into question your ethics. If you truly want to work, go apply everywhere (and yes, I mean every fast food restaurant) and start building a resume'. Work hard, be quiet and consistant, be on time and act like you want to be there. Eventually, you will be able to look for more rewarding employment.

Your previous employer cannot give you a bad reference but it depends what you were fired for. You should still be able to get further employment though!
you don't have to mention employers who fired you

the only way they can find out is 1. if you put your previous employer down as a reference 2. you did something illegal to get fired, police were involved and the new employer does a police check. If the reason you were fired wasn't illegal, just explain to the new employer the reason you were fired. Most applications have a section on the previous employers details, and an HR administrator from the new company normally contacts them for a work related reference. Just be careful about not including all the information on the application as this could be a reason for the new employer to terminate you also.

Unless you can explain Why you fired then you will not find a job. Sorry but a business owner is entitled to hire who he/she wants. You can not claim lack of experience since you have been previously employed. Having done the hiring for a company I did not like the ones who showed up late, untidy, chewing gum, clueless and with an attitude. Those are sure signs of a problem employee. Ten applicants for a job I am hiring the Punctual, Clean, Neat, Informed candidate who can communicate intelligently

when you send your application form, your previous job is listed there right? so, they call your former boss and ask why did they fire you and would they recommend you. and yes, maybe it's because of the horrible economy. :)
