    I had a job interview yesterday with McDonalds. I wore dressy jeans, black converse, a classy top with a fitted jacket and scarf. That was fine for them. If you are a guy you should wear jeans, a tasteful top and shoes and a nice jacket. Its only K-Mart... Dont get too dressed up as they will think you are trying too hard. As for what are your strengths? Well.. what are your strengths? Can you lift heavy things? Are you sociable and talk easily to customers? Are you good at reading and writing? What are your weaknesses? Do you hate maths? Have any favourite foods you can resist? Etc... Only you can know. Why do you want this job? Talk about the opportunity you would have with K-Mart and the opportunity to meet new people and work in a team. How K-Mart is a successful company that you would love to join. Maybe if you know anyone who works there mention them and how much they like it. Hope this helps

ok well the trend nowdays is to ask questions regarding past experiences: What is one situation where you had to work as a team? What is a situation where you were tempted to break a company rule or broke a company rule? (I answered this one one time with an answer about a time when I really messed up and didn't get the job. So the next interview I had that same question and I answered about how I used to work through lunch, which was against company policy, and after that was brought to my attention I quit working through lunch. I didn't get that job either but at least I gave a better answer) as far as why you want the job: Because I believe I have the abilities and skills that will enable me to perform this job at a high level and it will offer me the opportunity to develop new skills and abilities as I meet the challenges it presents. they might not due the past experience question thing since this is your first job but in case they do think of times in school when you have had to direct projects, work on a team project, deal with a difficult teacher, deal with difficult fellow students, been faced with losing your temper, breaking rules, seeing fellow students break rules, and how you handled it.
