Would it be stupid to go to law school and not practice law?

If I want to practice law in Louisiana, should I go to law school there?

    Yes, because Louisiana uses the Civil Law system it is different from other states within the United States. This, historically, is due to the fact that Louisiana was under French rule before being sold during the Louisiana Purchase on the part of Napoleon. Louisiana state laws are similar, however I have heard it helps to have been educated with respect to the legal system in Louisiana before attempting to work there or pass the BAR. I am sure that you can go to another school outside and will be fine either way as long as you can past the BAR exam.
