You lie. No seriously, its not like its a job where you need a degree in order to perform the work. You just go in and apply and make up some places that you worked that are not verifiable and try to get the job. then when you have the job you pay extremely close attention to your co-workers, work fast, and really... Whats the big deal a line cook is simply a line cook. They will teach you how they want things done anyways when you get there.
