Where can I get my R.N. license?

If an LPN that loses her license for abuse to a resident, can she get her RN?

    The nursing home or hospital she worked at would have to contact the board of registration in nursing and file a complaint against her LPN license. Yes she can become a RN if no one ever complains to the state licensing board about what she did as a LPN. So you can, or her employer, can file a complaint against her with the state. Usually the employer will just fire her and never mention anything to the state, which means she CAN go on to get a RN license. The state must be told there is a problem with her. If she gets a complaint against her LPN license then that might stop her from being allowed to take the NCLEX RN exam and become a licensed RN in the future.
