How i prepare for a management personal interview?

  • the tips to win a interview

  • Answer:

Get facts of what your job duties entail and ask any questions that pertain to that so that you come off as interested in the job. Let them know that you are interested in not only working, but in how to increase business and make them more profitable. This will land the job almost every time. Be HONEST! You may get a few trick questions in order to test your honesty. Be truthful, and do not tell them what you think they want to hear, just tell them the truth. If they catch you in the tiniest fib, it will kill the interview and your chances. An interview is not only for the employer to ask ?s, so ask your own as well. Just not ones that show a lack of knowledge about the job. Try not to ask about hours or pay. Let him/her bring that up bc that will show that you are just interested in a job, not where youcan take the company and yourself. I cannot express enough how important you dress and the way you present yourself is. That is the biggest factor of any interview. Do not wear anything that does not pertain to that job. If you will be on your feet all day, then do not wear heels to the interview. Do not wear open toe shoes to an interview EVER! You can wear flat dress shoes with a nice pant suit or something like that. Do not go overboard with makeup. Come across as professional, calm, and comfortable. DO fix your hair! Be sure your nails are trimmed, neat, and clean. Take a planner or notepad with you and take notes of anything you think are of importance. This really impresses. Leave your cell phone in your vehicle or turn it completely off....not even on vibrate. Do not tell them when you cannot work. Let them know you are flexible, dependable, and trustworthy. If you have children and it is brought up in the interview.....which it is illegal for them to ask you if you have children, but they still might. Then you do one of two things....you assure them that you have someone at hand to keep them while you are working or simply say that you think that is irrelevant to the job itself. Thats all I have right off the bat, but the list is practically endless. PAY ATTENTION, and even recap one or two things that the employer says to you during the interview.....just bonus points.
