dont trust those online advertisements, no you cannot do it online. Becoming an RN would be either a 2 year associates degree or a 4 year bachelors program (possibly 3 years if you already have a bachelors degree in something else). There also nursing assistant jobs such as a CNA, LVN, or LPN, which take much less time. whatever you do stay away from mysterious online classes. good luck

If you're thinking of nursing school, always check with your state board of nursing first to ensure the school is accredited. The following is a place to start: https://www.ncsbn.org/boards.htm You are right; if the school is not accredited, it will be a waste of money. There are some schools which have a mix of online classes and live labs where you go to the school and do the hands-on.
