Will you get a qualification in basic/general computer programming? If you do, you will want to take it further and approach companies who will offer specialist training later. There are so many levels and different types of qualification in computer programming. Investigate jobs that require computer programming and see what qualifications they are asking for. Your best direction would be to check the Computer Job magazines/websites and then you can compare. Investment banking is not good at this time of recession. If you like figures/numbers/accounts, look at all areas of business and not just banks. Have you looked at Actuary' or statistician or similar jobs?
