    My niece had the same problem and one day i told my sister in law to take her the a Specialist Ear Nose and throath Dr and guess what he found the problem and no more nose bleed ,,by the way ex for her nose bleed she would be sitting down and you could see the blood squirting out of her nose like it was unbelivable

If they last for less the 40 minutes it can be dry mucus membranes. High blood pressure can also be a cause and may exceed the 40 minutes. Sometimes underlying blood disorders will cause this to happen. If ever it lasts for more then 40 minutes or you soak the equivalent of a hand towel go to the ER.

It's usually from your nose drying out. I guarantee if you put bacitracin ointment in your nose everyday for 1-2 weeks you wont have it again, if it's from drying out. If it continues and its allot of blood,sometimes little blood vessels will break and you have to have it cauterized.

Could be weakened vessels in your nasal area, or it could be high blood pressure. I would be sure and have your blood pressure checked out.

The dry air. They usually happen around winter. Get a humidifier.

It could be that you have high blood pressure. my dad gets nosebleeds cause of high blood pressure once in a while.
