    to check if you have msn click the start button.then go on control panel. then look for programs and Click on it. than click on programs and features. then uninstall a program. look for windows live Essentials. a small screen is going to pop up. click continue and than after that another screen will pop up. Click uninstall. then select the programs you want to uninstall. if you want to download msn again

Hi Open explore or my computer -- >Goto Program files --> find folder called Messenger . If you find a file called msmsgs.exe then actually you have messenger on your pc, you can create a shortcut on todesktop and double click to run it.
