Can ashes be put in tattoo ink safely?

I want some of my sons ashes mixed in the ink for my tattoo, is this a good idea?

    It could be possible, but you should ask a good, honest tattoo artist. Most tattoo artist would say yes, just for the money. Make sure you know the health risk before getting the tattoo with the ashes. Like the person above me said, you could easily get an infection. You might be able to get it, but you would have to take extreme precautions to make sure you do not get an infection. GOOD LUCK <333

No. Ashes are a contaminant and could cause infection. It would be like pushing dirt into an open wound. Ash particles are extremely large compared with the particles in ink, and at the very least, would severely distort the tattoo image. I doubt you could find a reputable tattoo artist who would do this.
