  You have 2 options, you can go with an online school which will provide you with all your books and materials (free in many states) but with that option you lose the choice to teach what you want to teach. You could homeschool independnetly for very little money if you have access to a computer/printer and you make good use of the library. You can purchase math workbooks at Walmart very inexpensively. Then i would layer in some living math. Try http://www.livingmath.net Many of the books on living math are available at the public library. For a good literature reading list, request Sonlight Curriculum's catalog. Again-get the books from the library. If your local library doesn't have the books, ask to see if they have interlibrary loan. If they do, they can order books from other libraries around the country for you at no cost.
