How do big social networks like Facebook, linkedin or Google+ change their interface as per the user behaviour or his last known activity. Basically how do they segment users into various such buckets?
-
I work on a social network and have realized its not fair to give the same experience to all people who visit the site daily. Some are loyal users and some are casual wanderers. How do I segment them into different sets of users.
-
Answer:
Build a special solid program to feature your users and obviously loyal users would turn to you engaging fully while casual wanders enjoy watching. Still don't ignore the casual users. Engagement is important.
