What paintball barrel should I get?

Which barrel should I get for my paintball gun?

  • I play mostly woodsball and just bought a Tippmann A-5 and not sure if I should get an apex barrel or Flatline barrel or is there another barrel I should get. Thanks for the advice.

    Apex, IMO, is better. Like the other guy said, u can adjust it to curve the ball wherever u want.

Flatlines aren't that great, IMO. They give you better range, but at the cost of accuracy and FPS at that range, so it really doesn't help. I can dodge peoples shots from a Flatline because the ball's going slower than normal because of the backspin. They're also really picky with paint. I like Smart Parts barrels. The Lapco Bigshot and J&J Ceramic are good barrels if you're on a tight budget. Hope this helps!

Apex. an apex can shoot around trees. you can curve the ball to go around or up and over and then down.

Get a Flatline i have one on my A-5 and i love it and they look awsome with a battle shroud
