The obvious ones are the TN River, Centerhill, Cumberland River (Old Hickory branch), Etc- READ this article- http://www.gameandfishmag.com/2010/10/04/fishing_bass-fishing_tn_aa055004a/ And this- http://www.gameandfishmag.com/2010/10/04/fishing_bass-fishing_tn_aa034903a/ There is plenty of info on the "Big" tribs, lakes and impoundments- just type a search. What nobody ever talks about is the tiny creeks and ponds that dot the TN State map. TN has many little creeks you can fish and catch fun sized Bass (1-3 LBs). And, in some cases, you don't need a guide or boat- you just hike in....(minding any trespassing signs!) Look toward the Hiawasse GA Lake Chatuge region (which is on the border of NC, GA, and TN) for more "pristine" lakes, ponds and (esp) streams. Hope this helps?
