How to cast a multiplier reel?

When I cast, the line on my reel keeps spinning off the roll when the reel stops?

  • Why does the line keep rolling out when the reel stops

  • Answer:

If its a spinning reel you have too much line on the reel. If its a casting reel you probably aren't thumbing the spool enough at the end of your cast.

Too much line on the reel and you may need to adjust the magnetic knob abit tighter or use a heavier lure as well as manage the thumb control.

Ditka got it- TU's. Just a quick note- If it IS a baitcast reel, not only will you need to educate your thumb, you will need to adjust your cast control, (which is usually next to the handle).
