  It never hurts to ask. The worst they can say is "no." I'll have to be honest and tell ya, you might not get the fish though. Hatercheries are governed by Local and state laws and must abide by some rules. You say you have a small order (12) but it only takes 2 to make thousands..get my drift? So unless you have a permit or something, they may refuse your order. Besides that, depending on your local laws (fish and wildlife) you may not be able to keep fish in a pond or tank without further permits and such. If I were you, check your fish and wildlife first, call up the hatcheries 2nd. and go from there.
