Does Turlock lake, in Northern California have a river connected to it?

What has happened to the catfishing in Shasta Lake, northern California? Anyone have any luck lately?

my husband and i took a trip there for that reason,and we caught nothing,worse fishing trip we ever took,i wonder if global warming has something to do with this
