i live in south chicago and i want to go fishing but don't know any good spots. where is a pretty close fishing spot ? like atleast one hour away. please help

Fox River and Chain'o'Lakes is popular. At least an hour from South Chicago to the Chain'o'Lakes - if you don't hit traffic. I've heard the Kankakee is a good river for Largemouth Bass.
