    Chavez is the person behind this question. Julio Cesar Chavez still thinks the world revolves around him. He thinks Mexico hates Oscar De La Hoya for beating him. Mexicans will absolutely go for De La Hoya. De La Hoya is Mexican, I don't see why Mexicans won't support him. I was in Mexico when Oscar De La Hoya faced Mayorga, and I went to a bar to see the fight. The crowd seemed pretty supportive towards Oscar. Oscar De La Hoya says he has taken this fight Personal because Pacquiao has beaten many Mexicans. I don't think De La Hoya needs to beat Pacquiao to avenge Mexicans, I think Juan Manuel Marquez already did that. He avenged the losses of Barrera and Morales.

I sure am...i've always been a big ODLH fan anyway. I think it's a great match up, although many ppl are saying otherwise...i'm not taking anything away from Manny either, i think he's a great Filipino boxer. I'm just glad Oscar is not fighting another Mexican boxer for his last fight, it just wouldn't be right; and yeah maybe alittle payback wouldn't hurt! May the best man win! :)

Im mexican/american and i can tell u straight up.. i will not be rooting for oscar. Ive never liked him, could never beat any top name contenders... vargas is overrated, he really lost to felix that fight was given to him so the world could have there Hopkins/Hoya fight. Ima be rooting for Manny & i believe he will stop hoya. Hoya... i wouldnt say is overrated, but a lil above average boxer.. he aint a great. Go Manny!!!!!

lol i like it how other people who arent mexican are gonna tell me who im going for..... only a mexican can understand why we dont like de la hoya the guy is a pusy and mexicans dont like pussys. de la homooo should give other people a chance just like chavez did to him but he wont.... chavez could of retired but he didnt he kept fighting because he just wanted to prove he was the best but not de la hoya hes all about the money giving us sh1t fights.
