Any tips on how to draw faces?

i can draw objects, armors,animals etc..... but i have a really hard time drawing faces, and when i finally did draw anime type faces, they will just look kinda weird and a bit ...show more

start with a simple circle! or an horizontal oblong..just like drawing anime faces but more realistic..:)

You have to start with the shape. Ignore the hair, that's one of the last things you do. You should know things like the eyes are ALWAYS half way between the top and bottom of the head. Before you start drawing any detail at all, just mark out where the features go - eg. the edge of the eye, bottom of the nose etc. once you are confident this is correct, start to draw their shapes, and you can build it up from there. Don't worry if it doesn't look perfect as you do it. They often only come together at the end XD Practice makes perfect xxxxxxxxxxx
