Samsung, Android OS isn't locked down like iOS, I had an iphone first gen, 3gs and an HTC EVO and by far I enjoy the Android OS HTC. If you want to follow the crowd of ignorant consumers go with iOS based system, if you want total freedom of your device go with an Android OS
