What is the best place to buy vinyl records with mp3 downloads?

  • I recently started listening to vinyl records and want to start getting more modern music on vinyl. I know bands these days often sell vinyl records with an mp3 download code inside. Can I assume this about all modern records sold on sites like Insound or should I go with a particular vendor?

    It's safe to assume that any new release vinyl almost always includes a download code for an MP3 version of the album.  Out of the 100+ records I've bought in the last year or two, only two albums that I can think of did not include a code. A couple others included the CD instead. It can be frustrating buying the vinyl without knowing for sure, but I've almost always been pleasantly surprised that it is included. In my experience, most re-issues of older albums on vinyl do not include an MP3 download.
