Is a skype phone cheaper than a common landline phone?

Will skype show up on your landline phone bill?

• if someone is going to call my home phone off skype, even though it's free, will the time spent on the phone still show up on the bill or will it not show up at all??

  If someone using Skype calls your landline and you answer, its will register.Same goes for you cellphone, if someone calls you at your cell phone its doesnt it matter if its free for them; YOU still use up your minutes.
