I have a jailbroken ipod touch 1st gen and i can't get the sims 3 app to open? HELP!?

Im having the same trouble. Nothing can help it yet, the best thing to do is wait for an update then go to installous and download the most current version.

The same thing is happening with me. I haven't heard of anybody's working. I guess we just have to give up and buy it..

There have been reports of it crashing ALOT on first gens, and even the improved 2cd Gen sometimes crashes with it. Make sure your iPod isn't running anything else at the time, let it sit for a bit, and try it again. If all else fails, you may have to reset your firmware and re-jailbreak it and try again.
