  • Answer:

It's very rediculous. I bought five of them on Ebay for $15.00. You're supposed to use the ones designated as "high speed" for 1080p resolution. You may be in the same boat as I am. I have a Blu-ray player that won't output full resolution to my TV using the red, blue, green component cables, although it does look really good. Using HDMI passes full resolution, plus you don't have to run separate audio cables.

If your red/green/blue component cable is working, just use them. If you want an HDMI, $20 is more than enuf to pay.
