How to split coaxial cable tv?

If I have broadband internet and then split the coaxial line so one goes to the tv can I buy a digital cable..

    I agree with Rob. I know you can get basic cable this way. You can get a descrambler but it won't be digital cable. This would just allow you to get all the pay per view and other channels you wouldn't normally get on basic cable.

Hey Jake, yes there are splitters. I have cable Internet. I put a splitter on the line (one to my modem, and one to my cable box). At this point I was going to get a descrambler. I didn't go through with it, I felt like it was stealing. But, I think you can do it with the descrambler to the cable box as long as the filter is off. Some components look like filters, but they are inline amplifiers. Let me know if it works.
